The Great British Bake Off An Extra Slice (BBC 2, 9pm)

The Imelda May Show (RTÉ 1, 9.35pm)

It’s like an Irish Jools Holland… some say. This week, Imelda’s joined by The Coronas, Ham Sandwich, Cry Monster Cry, and the Academic.

Precious (BBC 2, 11.35pm)

This moving and sometimes-disturbing drama is based on the novel Push, by Sapphire. Gabourey Sidibe plays Precious, an obese, pregnant and abused teenager who is invited to enroll in an alternative school in an attempt to change her path.

Everyone is talking about… the new look Xtra Factor

The X Factor is on its way back to fill up our dark Winter weekends. While the show has got two new hosts in the shape of Caroline Flack and Olly Murs, it’s Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom that will be talking over presenting duties at the ITV 2 show, the Xtra Factor.

ITV 2 released a short promo for the new season, offering us a few glances as to how it might look.

Miami Vice (TV 3, 10pm) The movie adaptation based on the 80s sitcom. Two cops pose as smugglers to infiltrate a drug cartel.

BBQ Champ (UTV Ireland, 9pm) Who is the best BBQer of all? Besides yer da.

Eight out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4, 9pm) Jimmy and the gang attempt to make sense of words and bumbers.

Would I Lie to You? (BBC 1, 8.30pm) Comedy panel show with Greg Davies, Rick Edwards, and Alex Jones.
