What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The UEFA Euro 2016 final (RTE 2, 6.30pm)
Portugal go against France to take the title at the Stade de France. Who’s it gonna be? Would you rather Ronaldo win, or the people who knocked us out?
Flatliners (BBC 1, 11.45pm)
Classic 90s thriller about medical students who conduct near-death experiments to find out what happens when you die. They do this by inducing a near-death state until resuscitation is vital. Dangerous enough, but add the supernatural to the equation and shit gets weird.
Les Miserables (Channel 4, 8pm)
You know the story of this musical by now, and this is actually a pretty decent film adaptation.
Everyone’s talking about… James Corden and Gavin James
Why did this come about? Who knows. But we present to you, without comment, James Corden and Dubliner Gavin James, singing R Kelly’s Bump and Grind.
Get him on Carpool Karaoke mate.
Or flick over for…
The Sunday Game (RTE 1, 10.05pm) Highlights of the weekend in GAA.
Wimbledon (BBC 2, 11.50pm) A look back at the final day of the tournament.
The Punisher (TV 3, 10.30pm) Frank Castle is PISSED and he’s about to kick some ass and take some names. Comic book larks.
The Help (BBC 2, 8pm) A journalist returns to Mississippi to document the lives of black servants in the 60s.
X Men (e4, 8pm) The mutants’ first movie.
