U2 grace us with their presence on this week’s show. Bono and co will be stepping up to the plate, performing songs from their new album Songs of Innocence. You probably haven’t heard of it, the release was kept pretty hush hush. Also on are Sam Smith, Zola Jesus and New York rockers Interpol.

Temper-Mental MissElayneous launches her new album which is bound to include a quick-yet-fierce spoken word performance. On the other side of town, Venetia and Martin scout places to open their new deli. We can’t look away.
Ebola, Are We Ready? (TV3, 10.30pm)
Worried about Ebola but not really sure what it is or how likely you are to catch it? This might help clear some things up for you, as well as dealing with what will happen if it ever reaches Ireland. Will either terrify you or put your mind at ease.
Everyone’s talking about: Jonathan Ross
The talkshow host has signed a deal with ITV to stay with the channel until 2015. The contract includes two more series of the show and a Christmas special next year.
It comes after doubts that the station would keep the host in his current slot.

Ross moved to ITV after leaving the BBC in 2010, when he was replaced by Graham Norton in the Friday night slot.
This Saturday, Russell Brand, Lindsay Lohan, Daniel Radcliffe and Rio Ferdinand will sit on his couch.
