What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Man On Bridge (RTÉ 1, 6.30pm)

This documentary tells the story of Dublin street photographer Arthur Fields. Fields spent 50 years from the 1930s to 1980s taking photographs of people crossing O’Connell Bridge. It’s estimated that he took 182,000 photos on the bridge until he stopped in 1985. Why, he could have even taken one of you.

The Snapper (TV 3, 9pm)

Roddy Doyle’s hilarious tale about a girl who becomes pregnant but isn’t willing to reveal the father’s identity. But we all know it’s MR. BURRRGESS. Didn’t we see him there, amongst the vegetables.

Casino Royale (RTÉ 1, 9.30pm)

Daniel Craig’s first stint as agent 007. He’s off to investigate a banker with suspected links to terrorism.

Everyone’s talking about… Totes 2014 y’all

Nope, it’s not a show about handbags, but a kind of look back on the entertaining year that was showbiz 2014. Eoghan McDermott hosted the talking head fest that took a look back at the big stories of the past year in entertainment.

It’s still trending on Twitter this morning, and it seemed to just make people get angry about Garth Brooks again.

Well, others had a different problem.

Or switch over for…

Republic of Telly Mixtape Vol. 1 (RTÉ 2, 10pm) The best of this year’s sketches, all in one nice half hour.

Michael Buble Live at Christmas (TV 3, 10.50pm) One to watch with an elderly female relative who’d say he’s a ‘lovely chap’. Miss Piggy and Ariana Grande will be popping in.

The Wedding Singer (RTÉ 2, 12.35am) Adam Sandler plays a wedding singer that was left at the alter himself, back in the days when Adam Sandler actually made good movies.

Gogglebox 2014 (Channel 4, 10.10pm) In case you missed any of this year’s best bits. Unlikely.

Hey Ho, Let’s Go! (RTÉ 2, 9pm) Dermot Whelan hosts this music panel quiz show.

Grab a cuppa and watch the best of this year’s hilarious news bloopers>
