What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The British Academy Television Awards (BBC 1, 8pm)

Graham Norton is hosting the ceremony live from the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London. Will he have the beard? Will Mrs Browns Boys win? Will Stephen Rea win? Will Moone Boy win? Tune in to find out the answer to all the important questions.

The Speech (RTÉ 1, 9.30pm)

Bear with us. Gerald Keane tutors golfer Brian Casey as he attempts to overcome his fear of public speaking. Yep, it’s happening, and you won’t be able to look away.

Changeling (TV 3, 9pm)

Angelina Jolie stars in this story about a mother who is reunited with her missing son, but starts to claim he is an imposter. Her subsequent complaining vilifies her in the media and among detectives as an unfit mother. Super slick 1920s thriller, based on real events.

Everyone is talking about… DJ John

This guy absolutely killed it on Britain’s Got Talent last night. Observe, and just try not to rave.

Or flick over for…

Sunday Night at the Palladium (UTV Ireland, 8pm) Josh Groban, Meghan Trainor, the cast of The Commitments and Andre Rieu all feature tonight.

Prometheus (Channel 4, 9pm) Alien prequel, starring Michael Fassbender. That’s all YOU need to know.

Maid in Manhattan (E4, 8pm) Mindless muck with Jennifer Lopez. You’ll love it.

Game of Thrones (Sky Atlantic, 2am) Be the first to see it. Work in the morning? Whatever.

Piranha DD (Channel 4, 11.25pm) Is it a comedy? Is it a horror? It’s BOTH. Bloodthirsty piranhas attack hot people in a water park. Think sharknado, but even better.
