What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Married At First Sight (Channel 4, 9pm)

The conceit of this new Channel 4 reality series is simple: three couples get married at first sight after they are deemed to be compatible by a panel of psychologists and experts. And, yes, it’s a legally binding marriage. Tonight, we see the panel decide who will get married. Sure to fill the First Dates-shaped hole in your life. #MarriedAtFirstSight

Adoption Stories (TV3, 8.30pm)

In tonight’s episode, a brother and sister are reunited 40 years after both were given up for adoption. In tonight’s episode, the pair meet a social worker and try to arrange a meeting with their birth mother. #adoptionstories

Tales of the Grim Sleeper (Sky Atlantic, 11pm)

This excellent documentary tells the story of a string of murders in Central Los Angeles over a span of 20 years. In 2010, police arrested Lonnie Franklin and charged with ten counts of murder, although it’s estimated he could have killed over 100 women. This film explores how he went undetected for so long and speaks to women who came into contact with him. One to record.
