What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Live Euro 2016: France v Romania (RTÉ Two, 7pm)

The Euros kick off in earnest tonight with a match between host nation France and Romania. Of course it’s not the big one — that would be Ireland v Sweden — but with France widely tipped to take the trophy, it’s still worth a gander. (Sorry, football agnostics. This is what telly is going to look like for the next month.)

The Graham Norton Show (BBC One, 10.35pm)

Tonight, Graham is joined by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Golblum and boxer Nicola Adams. Lot of good guns on that couch, eh?

A Time To Kill (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

A 90s legal thriller starring Sandra Bullock and Matthew McConaughey? It’s summertime on RTÉ One, baby. How long before we see Mississippi Burning and Double Jeopardy on there?

Everyone’s talking about… Stranger Things

The new Netflix series stars Winona Ryder and the first trailer dropped yesterday.

Pitched as “a love letter to the supernatural classics of the 80s,” it’s the story of a young boy who disappears without a trace and the search that follows.

And it looks spooky as hell.

Or flick over for…

  • Big Brother: Live Eviction (TV3, 9pm) The first of this season’s live evictions. Who will be sent home?
  • The Millionaires’ Holiday Club (BBC Two, 9pm) Give yourself a dose of holiday envy by finding out the millionaires do it.
  • Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm) It’s that time of the week again <3
  • The Last Leg (Channel 4, 10pm) Tonight, the trio are joined by Jeremy Corbyn and Russell Crowe. Quite the pairing, eh?
