What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday
Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Donal’s YouTube Superstars (RTÉ 2, 10pm)
Celebrity cook and ex-boybander Donal Skehan swaps the kitchen for the world of YouTube in this documentary. He takes a look at people finding fame online and broadcasting to millions through home-made videos.
First Dates (Channel 4, 10pm)
PLEASE NEVER LET THIS END. It’s not secret that we’re big First Dates fans, and Thursday is now officially First Dates day. Tonight, a male stripper, an Italian locksmith, a theology student, and a Croatian nanny all go on dates with complete strangers. Funny, sad, embarrassing, all at once.
The Inbetweeners Movie (e4, 9pm)
The lads head to Greece on a lads holiday and well, it goes as well as expected. It’s not clever, it’s not smart… but it sure is funny.
Everyone’s talking about… GIRLS season 5
Yes, the new trailer has been released and it looks… well, have a look.
Excited.
Or flick over for…
The Shelbourne (RTÉ 1, 8.30pm) An interesting look inside one of Dublin’s busiest hotels.
The Undateables (TV3, 10pm) A cruelly-named show that’s actually quite sweet at times. People deemed ‘undateable’ are set up by a matchmaker.
Pioc do Ride (TG 4, 10pm) This week it’s Ryan from Donegal in the hot seat. Lucky man.
Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC 2, 10pm) The comedian takes a look at the week’s big stories.
