Conviction (Sky Living, 9pm)

A brand new legal drama to get your teeth into. Hayley Atwell plays a lawyer and politician blackmailed into joining a unit which investigates if people were correctly convicted or not. Intriguing.

My Trans American Road Trip (Channel 4, 10pm)

Transgender woman Abigail Austin investigates transgender rights in the context of current American politics. Mainly, she’ll focus on the North Carolina’s Bathroom Bill and how it’s now a key swing state in the Trump and Clinton race.

 Tottenham v Bayer Leverkusen (RTE 2, 7.30pm)

Because we cannot escape football. The Champions League clash kicks off at 7.45pm, with George Hamilton and Ronnie Whelan on commentary.

Everybody’s talking about… Stranger Things series 2

Series one pretty much left us on a massive cliffhanger, but we already have some info about series 2.

Netflix released a teaser for the next series and it’s getting us all excited again.

Brendan O’Connor’s Cutting Edge (RTE 1, 9.35pm) Cutting edge stuff, LOLS.

A Terrible Hullabaloo (RTE 1, 11.45pm) An animated short about a 14-year-old boy called Vinny Byrne who found himself fighting in the Easter Rising.
