What was Obama thinking when his car got stuck?
IT SEEMS THAT the media of the United States has been paying relatively close attention to the goings-on of Barack Obama’s tour of Europe – and has begun to crack some jokes about the fate of Obama’s heavyweight limousine.
The vehicle – nicknamed ‘the Beast’ due to its sheer weight and 10-inch bulletproof doors – became stuck on a particularly high ramp as the President was leaving the US embassy in Ballsbridge on Monday.
The hiccup caused a slight delay to Obama’s departure for Moneygall – and the US has heard all about it, judging by the treatment the incident got on CBS’s Late Night with David Letterman last night.
