In Cape Verde, Ade visits a community living in the shadow of an active volcano and witnesses how solar power is transforming the lives of communities there. In Senegal, he visits Goree Island and learns about the island’s sobering history from the transatlantic Slave Trade. Ade checks out places of note in every country on his journey, and discovers a group of young people training hard on the Ivory Coast to make it as professional footballers in Europe’s big leagues, learning how they’re often exploited, scammed and taken advantage of by dodgy agents.
