What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Don’t Tell The Bride (RTÉ Two, 10pm)

In this week’s season finale of the show, kitchen porter Colm will be organising a 1920s themed wedding due to his love of TV show Peaky Blinders.

There’ll be gangsters, gambling and a race track but hopefully he doesn’t let his love of TV overshadow Jane’s dreams for an elegant wedding in a stately home.

A quick look at what’s on the menu at his wedding reception (curry chips), and you can be fairly sure this is going to be a disaster. Look Jane, at least it’s not IKEA.

Child of Our Time (BBC1, 9pm)

After a four year break, this BBC show following the lives of 25 children born in the year 2000 is back. The project, which will continue until 2020, will this time be focusing on how the now 16 and 17-year-old participants are dealing with many issues.

These include self consciousness and sexuality, the divorce of parents and a pair of twins finding themselves separated for the first time as they follow different paths in third level education. This is sure to pack an emotional punch.

Ireland’s Property Crisis (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

A bleak two-part series looking at the property crisis over the course of seven days following several people as they struggle with looking for somewhere to rent, hoping to buy their first home and resisting eviction.

Unfortunately, the struggles will be something many viewers will relate to.
