Deidre O’Kane stars as Christina Noble in this biopic about the campaigners life and advocacy for children’s rights in Vietnam. It follows her as she leaves Dublin for the UK to later travel to Ho Chi Minh City with no money.

Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC2, 10pm)

Comedian Frankie Boyle’s new series launches tonight and combines stand-up, review, discussion and audience interaction to look at the weeks news. Also featuring Sara Pascoe and Katherine, this could be just what we need to tide us over until Graham Norton returns.

Mystic River (RTÉ 2, 9.40pm)

American mystery crime drama directed by Clint Eastwood. The daughter of an ex-con (Sean Penn) is murdered and two of his childhood friends are involved. He decides to make his own investigation and take things into his own hands.

What Happens in Vegas (TV3, 9pm) Romantic comedy starring Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz who win $3 million on a slot machine after an impromptu wedding. A judge orders them to stay together and try out married life for six-months for a share of the winnings.

Atlantic: The Wildest Ocean on Earth (RTÉ 2, 7.30pm) A three part documentary about the vast Atlantic and everything that lies in it.
