Billo Hurley, Amoan Grumpy and Johnny Styles (not really) will be kicking of RTÉ’s World Cup coverage this evening with the World Cup opening ceremony and first match between Brazil and Croatia at Arena de Sao Paulo. #WorldCup

Traveller Women: Telling It Straight (TV3, 9pm)

Everybody’s talking about… MasterChef: The Professionals

Grumpy Marcus Wareing taking over from Michel Roux Jr in Masterchef: The Professionals. The Guardian muses that his ‘stern manner could suck all the joy out of the best of the MasterChefs’.

Wareing was once known as Gordon Ramsey’s protege and is stepping in in place of Roux after a fall out with the BBC over his commercial interests.

Is it just us, or will it just not be the same with the old silver fox Michel Roux? At least terrifying Monica will still be there.
