What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Room to Improve (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

Well! After all the fun of last week’s episode with Daniel and Majella O’Donnell (which quickly became RTÉ’s most watched TV show of the year – we imagine it’ll be hard to overtake), Dermot’s back tonight, doing up another huge gaff.

Tonight, it’s a 170-year-old mansion in Fermoy. Dermot will be adding a luxurious extension, swim spa, gym and sauna to this house. It’s only the second episode and we imagine this will be another big budget project.

Strike: Career of Evil (BBC One, 9pm)

The first of a two part series based on JK Rowling’s detective novel. An ex-military policeman is working on a case that appears to be linked to his past and the death of his mother. Things take a nasty turn when his sidekick is sent a severed human leg, sending Detective Cormoran Strike on the hunt for potential suspects.

 Shutter Island (Channel 4, 11.05pm)

The 2010 neo-noir psychological thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio as US Marshal Teddy Daniels who is investigating a psychiatric facility after a murderer escapes from a locked room. As the investigation deepens, Teddy realizes he has to confront his own dark fears if he hopes to make it off the island alive.
