Everybody’s talking about… Graham Linehan’s new show

War Child Comedy Night - London Empics Entertainment Empics Entertainment

Father Ted co-creator Graham Linehan is making a new show for Channel 4… well, a pilot for a new show anyway.

Channel 4 has commissioned a non transmission pilot of The Cloud, which will be filmed this spring.

The sitcom focuses on the crew of a “data hub floating about earth”.

The job of Cloud Station 13 is to protect the vast amounts of information the human population now hoards on its endless devices – the majority of which comprises of selfies, copious pictures of kittens and a lot of porn. The disparate group who man the hub are anything but technical whizzes; which would matter less if technology – including a largely voice activated ship – was a little more reliable.

Adam and Joe’s Adam Buxton (who is co-writing) and Irish comic and actress Ashling Bea will star.
