End of the World Night (Channel 4, 9pm) 

This ninety minute documentary looks at the potential disasters that could actually spell the end of the world. It also takes a look at disasters in cinema, from Armageddon to 2012. #EndOfTheWorld 

The Saturday Night Show (RTÉ One, 9.50pm) 

Pat Rabbitte, Marty Morrissey and Pippa O’Connor Ormond will all be on, if you like that kind of thing. #SaturdayNightShow

Everybody’s talking about… #Eurovision 60

Last night the BBC aired a special programme to mark 60 years of Eurovision and there were plenty of nods to Ireland’s glorious past.

Look at Sir Johnny Logan there, leading the mass singalong. Look at the Riverdance gang up there at the top. So proud.
