Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
VIP Style Awards (TV3, 9pm)
Want to see the aftermath of the Amanda Brunker seagul shit incident? Want to see Marty Morrissey and Martin King having the time of their lives? Want to marvel at Jean Byrne’s outfit? Well then look no further. #VIPStyleAwards
Broad City (Comedy Central, 10pm)
If you haven’t already caught up with this Amy Poehler-produced comedy, now’s your chance. The first season will premiere on this side of the Atlantic this evening on Comedy Central. It follows hilarious stoner pals Abbi and Ilana as they navigate life in New York city. #BroadCity
Kirstie and Phil’s Love It or List It (Channel 4, 8pm)
A new series from this pair (and another chance for us to wonder why they’re not married, or if they’ve ever even had a cheeky snog). This time they’re going head to head trying to get homeowners to sell, or redesign. THE TENSION! #KirstieAndPhil
Everybody’s talking about… #Obvious Child
If you’re a fan of last year’s delightful film Obvious Child (about a comedian deciding to have an abortion), then you’ll be happy to hear that it’s essentially coming to the small screen.
FX have announced plans for a new series fro Gillian Robespierre and Elisabeth Holm (the pair behind Obvious Child) which will star Jenny Slate (who was in Obvious Child).
Or switch over for…
- 24 Hours in the Past (BBC 1, 9pm) Celebrities spend a full day living in olden times
- Grey’s Anatomy (RTÉ 2, 9pm) Hold us
-
The Good Wife (RTÉ 1, 10.15pm) It’s back for a new series on RTÉ One and there’s a crisis at Florrick-Agos
- Later Live with Jools Holland (BBC 2, 10pm) Florence and the Machine, James Taylor and The Charlatans
