Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The 90s: Ten Years That Changed The World (Channel 4, 9pm)
Irvine Welch, Jarvis Cocker and Jo Whiley are all contributors to this 90 minute special narrated by Kathy Burke, looking back at music, fashion, film, sport etc. Britpop and the get up of David Beckham will feature strongly. Everyone’s mad about the nineties today #TheNineties
Agnes Browne (RTE One, 9.30pm)
Angelica Huston spent a lot of time in Ireland as a kid, so she makes a good fist at an Irish accent in this adaptation of Brendan O’Carroll’s novel. Ray Winstone also stars, as do female ‘organisms’. #AgnesBrowne
Hitler Night (More 4, 7.55pm - midnight)
Starting off with Nazi Megastructures at 7.55pm, followed by Hitler’s Hidden Drug Habit, Hitler’s Hunting Experiment and Auschwitz: The Forgotten Evidence.
Everybody’s talking about… #TFI Friday
Last night saw the nineties (MORE NINETIES!) return to Channel 4 as Chris Evans hosted a one-off TFI Friday special with guests Liam Gallagher, Blur and Jeremy Clarkson.
The Guardian liveblogged it, Chris Evans predicted a reboot of the show (with Nick Grimshaw at the helm) and everybody got very nostalgic.
