What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here’s what’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day (Channel 4, 11.10pm)

We may not have Independence Day on telly this evening, but at least we’ve got some Arnie in this 1991 action classic. Arnie is The Terminator, sent back in time to protect John and Sarah Connor. #Terminator2

Saturday Night With Miriam (RTÉ One, 9.45pm)

Singer and model Nadia Forde, Donegal manager Jim McGuinness and crime maverick Paul Williams are all among the guests on the couch this evening. #Miriam

The John Bishop Show (BBC 1, 9.45pm, RTÉ 2, 9pm)

The sixth episode of Bishop’s show on BBC 1 features Rita Ora and comics Nina Conti and Nish Kumar, while over on RTÉ 2 there’s a chance to catch up with the first ever episode with comics Trever Noah and Paul Acaster and musician Paul Wellar among John’s guests at London’s Hackney Empire. #JohnBishopShow

Everybody’s talking about…. #Independence Day

The film we mean, not the day itself. We’ve already established it’s not showing anywhere on telly tonight, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still pay homage.

  • Top Gear Africa Special (RTÉ 2, 7.50pm) Feeling withdrawals already? There
