Father Ted (RTÉ 2, 9pm)
It’s the Speed 3 episode (arguable one of the best ever) and Pat Mustard the milkman is out for revenge, and Dougal is his pawn. Read our oral history of the episode here. #FatherTed #HairyBaby

The nominees for the Pub Sheds and Budget Sheds categories. Hey, don’t knock Shed of the Year until you’ve tried it. #ShedOfTheYear
Everybody’s talking about… George Osborne v the BBC
UK Chancellor George Osborne has announced plans to hit up the BBC in a bid to settle the country’s benefits bill.
Reuters reports that the BBC will be tasked with covering the cost of providing free TV licences to the over-75s. The corporation will be able to charge for the use of its iPlayer and similar services. However, according to The Times there will still be a £500m loss for the BBC.
