The Great British Bake Off (BBC One, 8pm)

The happiest day of the week is here! Last week, Mary Berry was subject to a backlash when she banned contestants from using blowtorches while making creme brulées. (The horror!) Can she redeem herself this week? Tonight sees the bakers making cakes without sugar, dairy and gluten. We can already smell the drama. #gbbo

Don’t Tell The Bride (BBC Three, 9pm)

Tracy and Dele are getting married. Tracy dreams of a romantic wedding in a castle, while Dele wants the same. Hurray! Just kidding, he wants a wedding inspired by his favourite soap. This will end in tears. #DontTellTheBride

Garda Down Under (RTÉ One, 8.30pm)

Between 2005 and 2015, 30 Gardaí chose to leave Ireland and up sticks to Australia. This documentary meets some of the guards who moved to Australia and looks at what life is like a cop down under. *hums Down Under by Men At Work* #GardaDownUnder

Everyone is talking about… Sue Perkins

The beloved host of The Great British Bake Off has revealed that she has been living with a brain tumour for eight years.

Fortunately, however, it’s benign. The comedienne explained to Good Housekeeping the ways in which it affects her day-to-day life.

Sometimes it’s big and makes me mad, and sometimes it’s small and is in the background. Sometimes it screws up my hormones.

The host has been inundated with well wishes since the announcment and thanked followers for their messages.
