Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Dole Life, RTÉ 2, 9.30pm
A group of 18-25 year olds show their struggle to make ends meet. Lloyd tries to set up his own food business, single mother Kelly goes for a course in community care and Shauna signs back on after losing her job. #DoleLife
The Hunt, BBC One, 9pm
Is there anything better than when the BBC is doing it’s thing with nature documentaries? This week’s episode of The Hunt goes to the Arctic where polar bears, foxes and wolves fight for survival. #TheHunt
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, RTÉ 2, 10.30pm
The Swedish original adaptation of the Stieg Larson novel starring Noomi Rapace stars. The film was so well received that there was considerable confusion when a Hollywood remake was announced. Worth checking out. #GirlWithTheDragonTattoo
Everybody’s talking about… #Master Of None
Aziz Ansari’s comedy has finally hit Netflix and it’s proving to be a big winner.
It’s the Parks and Rec star’s first go as showrunner (he also stars, as does his dad who’s already being tipped for an Emmy) and he’s hit the nail on the head. God bless you Aziz.
Or switch over for…
- The American (Ch 4, 11.05pm) George Clooney is a slick American hitman hiding in an Italian town
- The Great Irish Bake Off (TV3, 9pm) Does it match up to GBBO? Only one way to find out
- Gogglebox (Ch 4, 10pm) Another chance to see Friday night’s show
- Paddy Moloney: Chieftain (RTÉ One, 9.30pm) A portrait of the musician by Liam McGrath
