What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

EVERY WEEKDAY lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Nuisance Katie Hopkins will be raising rage and blood pressures in sitting rooms across Ireland this evening, as she returns to explain why “this time I am fat”. It looks like Nidge is going to be on too. Cancel your plans. The pub can wait. #LateLateShow

The Hangover (TV3, 9pm)

What do tigers dream of when they take a little tiger snooze? The massive 2009 hit starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis will set you up nicely for the weekend. #TheHangover

Die Hard (E4, 9pm)

It’s the law that if Die Hard is on, you must watch it. Even if it’s not Christmas. Yippee Kye Ay! #DieHard

Everybody’s talking about… #Downton Abbey

Oh my giddy arse! It’s back on Sunday! Speculation is rife about what’s going to happen as we head into season 5.

The Telegraph is predicting that everyone will find out about Edith’s secret babby, The Washington Post tells us that the gay storyline is heading for a darker turn while Buzzfeed reports that “long simmering plots come to the boil”. EXCITING!
