The likes of Ham Sandwich, Roisin O, Hudson Taylor, the Delorentos, The Minutes, and The Academic all came together to perform U2′s One, to mark the launch of the album a Whole Lotta Live.

The album was made in tribute to the late Tony Fenton who passed in March, and to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.

Today FM posted a video of the performance to Facebook and it’s certainly wonderful.

The album has knocked Adele’s 25 off the top of the Irish itunes charts, no easy feat at all.

People all over Ireland tuned in to hear Tony Fenton on the radio one last time>
