PICTURE THE SCENE: You’re madly in love with the man of your dreams. You may even hope to start a family with him some day.

Then he breaks the news over a romantic dinner that he already has fathered children – around 70 of them in fact. That was the big reveal in new US reality show Sperm Donor, which debuted on Style Network on Tuesday night.

The aforementioned fiancé Ben, who has a lucrative past as a sperm donor behind him, tells his stunned bride-to-be Lauren that it turns out the clinic gave out his… samples… much more often than is generally recommended by fertility clinic regulations. They have told him that he has fathered around 70 children and that 15 to 20 of those have already tried to contact him.
