ABSOLUT Fringe 2011

WIN: Night in 4-star hotel and ABSOLUT Fringe tickets ... tonight

Fancy a night on the town in Dublin tonight courtesy of ABSOLUT Fringe and Brooks Hotel? Read on…

Updated 11.19am: The prize has been won by reader Aoife Mullen who is travelling with her mum to Dublin – her mum has just passed a… ahem, ‘significant’… birthday milestone and it’s their last weekend together before Aoife heads off to college for the first time. Aw.

YOU PROBABLY HAVE noticed by now that TheJournal.ie is proud online media partner of ABSOLUT Fringe 2011. For the 16 days of the festival, we are bringing you Fringe reader-generated reviews, news, ticket competitions and artist interviews.

Today is a special one though – ABSOLUT Fringe and Brooks Hotel want to give one of TheJournal.ie‘s readers an amazing prize: Tickets for two people to TWO shows in a row at the ABSOLUT Fringe Club TONIGHT. And don’t worry about getting home – you will then spend the night in a four-star boutique hotel. Nice.

The prize:

  • The winner will see the List Operators, the cult comedy duo nominated for the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s prestigious Barry Award 2010, at 7pm tonight at ABSOLUT Fringe Club on Parnell Square, Dublin.
  • Then they will be whisked into Frisky and Mannish’s Pop Centre Plus at 8.30pm at the same venue to see this ridiculously talented duo cut an hilarious dash through the pop factory.
  • Finally, the winner and a friend (not supplied!) will stay the night in the four-star boutique Brooks Hotel in Drury Street, just off Grafton Street.

How to win:

Simply email us at competitions@thejournal.ie and tell us (in 20 words or less) why you want to come to ABSOLUT Fringe tonight. Don’t forget to include your name, address and contact number. Easy!
