WIN: Tickets to this weekend's Irish Craft Beer fest

Craft brewers of Ireland are showcasing their wares in Dublin’s RDS weekend – and they want TheJournal.ie readers to join them…

Updated 16.54 – Tickets have now been won for this competition and the winners notified. Thanks to all who entered.

ARTHUR WHO? CRAFT beer brewers of Ireland have united to hold a three-day festival in Dublin’s RDS to showcase the finest artisan brews the country has to offer.

If you’re feeling like a more gourmand approach to alcohol, TheJournal.ie has TEN pairs of tickets to be won for entrance to the Irish Craft Beer Festival.

Winners can use their tickets on any of the following days -

  • Tonight (open until half past midnight),
  • Tomorrow (open midday until half past midnight) or,
  • Sunday (open midday until 10pm)

Entrance to the show normally costs €10 and includes a souvenir glass and a half-pint of artisan beer of your choice. Once inside, there is live music each evening and and family entertainment during the day. Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club and comedian Joe Rooney are two of the acts performing at the weekend.

A number of artisan food suppliers will also be on hand to provide recommended food pairings for different beers at the festival. Keep an eye out for some of our favourite brewery names – Brew-Eyed from Carlow, 8th Degree from Mitchelstown and… ahem… Trouble Brewing from Kildare. There are also select whiskey and cider makers on hand if beer’s not your thing. Seewww.irishcraftbeerfestival.com for more information.

To WIN:
