Vogue Williams, Adam Collard and Reese Witherspoon ...it's our celeb winners and losers of the week

Some will win, some will lose.

DailyEdge praises those who rocked the week in celebland, while keeping a watchful eye on those who should just log off forever.

Losers

Adam Collard from Love Island

Look from the moment we watched Adam swipe Kendall off Niall we knew he was a slimeball. He confirmed that on Thursday’s ‘Love Island’ when he seemed to be losing patience with Kendall who wanted to take things slow.

Kendall was dumped by her fiancee of 5 years before the show so we can understand if it takes her a while to let her guard down. Adam clearly doesn’t and is already off to look for new options with new girl Rosie and openly admitted he fancied her. Poor Kendall.

We’re not saying Love Island should be used as the best measure of people but Adam can get lost as far as I’m concerned.

Piers Morgan

Look if I had my way then Piers Morgan would be a loser every week but alas that gets rather boring for the reader so here we are. This week Piers has outdone himself by having a feud with Lily Allen over a bloody necklace and accused her of promoting gun violence which is a reach now to be fair.

She understandably wasn’t having it and their spat resulted in Piers cancelling her appearance on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain where she was supposed to be promoting her new album. Jaysus.

He said he wouldn’t interview her until her album became a hit which according to him wouldn’t be anytime soon. We’re done with Twitter spats in general but also Piers Morgan can get in the sea with such a weird abuse of power. Nice little echo chamber he’s built for himself.

Winners

Kim Kardashian

Kim’s managed to turn it around this week and put herself back on the winners list by getting Trump to grant clemency to 63 year old Alice Marie Johnson. Kim met Trump last week to discuss prison reform and both said it had gone well and it really has given Alice Marie will now be released.

Kim’s been on the case of Alice Marie Johnson since last year when she saw a video of the 63 year old talking about how she was imprisoned for a minor drug offence. She’s now been granted clemency and will be set free.

Kim using her massive platform is good is really empowering to see and we’d like to see a lot more of this and a lot less appetite suppressant lollipop posts.

Vogue Williams

This week saw Vogue Williams take on the body shaming trolls who feel that fat shaming a 7 month pregnant Vogue is an appropriate thing to do. She took to Twitter to tell those trolls where to go and delightfully it was the sea.

If you’re fat shaming someone who is pregnant then you need to take a long hard look at yourself. You shouldn’t be fat shaming anyway because it’s gross and none of your business. Vogue’s attitude to them is the right attitude in fairness. To the sea with you.

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon finally gifted us with the news that Legally Blonde 3 is actually becoming a real movie and she did it very coolly too. She put up a video on her Instagram of her floating on a lilo in a pool with the caption ‘It’s true… #LegallyBlonde3′.

It was very, very, very Elle Woods and we are very much here for it. It looks like it’ll be opening for Valentine’s Day 2020  which is 7 years after the sequel. We’re dead excited.
