DailyEdge praises those who rocked the week in celebland, while keeping a watchful eye on those who should just log off forever.
Losers
Jason Bateman
In an interview with the New York Times, members of the Arrested Development cast (most notably Jason Bateman) appeared to defend Jeffrey Tambor’s verbal abuse towards Jessica Walter.
The worst part is that Bateman appears to be defending Tambor while Jessica Walter is crying. It is not pleasant listening and Bateman’s defence is awful.
It’s a very amorphous process, this sort of bullshit that we do, you know, making up this fake life. It’s a weird thing, and it’s a breeding ground for atypical behaviour and certain people have certain processes.
For what it’s worth he did apologise but we’re just a little bit fed up of listening to people do this over and over again. It’s about time men like Tambor were held to account for their actions rather than people try to justify or apologise for them.
Katy Perry
Katy Perry has just been acting the melt recently and honestly she needs to take a break for a little while. She was mean about Meghan Markle’s dress saying it could do with another fitting. Was there literally any need for this?
Some people liked Kate’s dress and some liked Meghan’s but there was something of a nasty undertone to Katy’s comments.
Katy, hun, take a day off.
Winners
Katherine Ryan
We’re always here for trolls being taken down but this week Katherine Ryan took it to a whole other level. The Canadian born comedian threw her support behind the yes side in the 8th Amendment Referendum which some people didn’t take too kindly too.

Katherine’s dad is Irish and she has dual Canadian-Irish citizenship. We now make her Queen of Twitter. All hail Katherine Ryan.
Cillian Murphy
As if we couldn’t love Cillian anymore, this week he sent a cake into the Together for Yes Headquarters because he is a true gentleman. He wrote a note thanking everyone for volunteering their time to the campaign.
Cillian Murphy sent us in cake! Fantastic to have support from men around the country to will stand with us and vote YES on Friday May 25th #Together4Yes #together2vote pic.twitter.com/2DjGXTHV99

Cillian Murphy somehow became both the soundest and cutest man in Ireland simultaneously. I’d like to think that he baked it himself. He’s a legend even if he didn’t but oh to have the icing skills of Cillian if he did.
Also shoutout to Simon Harris who is now the most popular man in the country after the Prime Time Debate on Wednesday. We love you Simon.
Wiz Khalifa
Wiz will probably take home the best dad of year of the award as he documented his song having the time of his life at a Taylor Swift concert. Wiz and ex girlfriend Amber Rose brought their son to the concert where he presented Taylor with flowers.
He then videoed his son singing along to every single word of every song. The kid looked like he was on top of the world. Very, very wholesome content indeed.
WIZ KHALIFA AND AMBER ROSE TAKING THEIR SON TO SEE TAYLOR SWIFT IS HONESTLY THE CUTEST MOST PURE THINGS IVE SEEN IN AWHILE😭 pic.twitter.com/Uh19LtOV2R
