This witness sketch of a suspect in the US is so bad that it's gone super viral

And it actually helped catch the suspect too.

AN ONGOING LEGAL case in Miami has taken on a surprising global dimension this week.

Why? Well, the local news report on the case flashed up a picture of the suspect alongside a sketch of what a witness saw:

And in the news report, the State Attorney presented the sketch to the media – telling them it was indeed drawn by the witness and not an artist

As Buzzfeed discovered, the sketch was instrumental in catching the suspect. But that hasn’t stopped everyone taking the absolute piss out of it

It’s now a giant meme, and it reminds everyone that your artistic skills, no matter how limited, could come in handy one day
