Woman breaks toddler's ten-storey fall
CHINESE STATE media reports that a toddler is in critical condition in east China after surviving a ten-story fall by being caught by a passing woman.
The reports say the 2-year-old girl Niu Niu was left unattended yesterday in the family’s tenth floor apartment outside Hangzhou city while her grandmother went to run an errand.
The reports say passer-by Wu Juping saw the toddler hanging from the window and then ran over when she saw Niu Niu fall. The 31-year-old woman broke her arm catching the child, who is hospitalised with internal bleeding and other injuries.
