A CLIFF RICHARD superfan has taken to driving around with a terrifying Cliff Richard doll in the passenger seat in order to feel safer while driving alone.
According to The Mirror, 68-year-old Jill Stolworthy drives everywhere with the Richard replica strapped into the car next to her.
As her husband explained:
We thought he would be particularly useful when Jill is driving on her own, especially at night, so it looks like there is a male passenger.
Stolworthy and her husband picked up a bust of the singer’s head at a car boot sale, dressed him in an older blazer and and Norwich City football scarf. They also allegedly put sunglasses on him because his eyes are “too intense”.
As for what other people make of it? Jill stated that the most common reactions are “Are you mad?” and “We are really worried about you two”.
