Woman who gave birth in the leg of her onesie claims it saved her baby's life

The onesie – everyone’s friend.

A LONDON WOMAN has attributed her onesie with saving her baby’s life after she gave birth suddenly in a hospital car park.

21-year-old Jessica Wynter was on her way in because she was experiencing labour pains two days after Christmas, when baby Kye ‘popped out’.

The new mother told The Daily Mail,

I knew something had come out. I thought it was the water sack. It felt like a rubber duck slapped across my leg.

Speaking to The Sun, she said,

The onesie saved my baby’s life. If I’d not been wearing it I don’t think Kye would have survived.

Jessica explained that the baby might have fallen onto the pavement of the carpark rather than staying nestled in the leg of her cosy garment.

Jessica’s mother, Christine, said,

I undid the zip of her onesie and there he was, tucked up safely in the garment’s leg. If she hadn’t had it on I dread to think what might have happened. It was really scary stuff.

So there you have it.  One more reason to defend your onesie.
