Woman receives death threats after shoving cat in bin (Video)
A WOMAN IN COVENTRY who lured a cat closer to a wheelie bin so she could shove it inside has received death threats over her actions.
Police say she is not under their protection.
The woman was caught on tape by the cat’s owners, who had a security camera surveying the front of their home.
They released the footage on YouTube and Facebook, hoping someone would recognise the woman and identify her:
The cat, Lola, was discovered 15 hours later when her owner, Darryl Mann, heard her calls from the bin. He said she was terrified by the experience.
Initially, he thought she had gotten in by herself, because “she’s not the brightest cat”, but later he checked his video surveillance and found the culprit.
The RSPCA says it will interview the woman, but police said she will not be arrested because she has not committed a criminal offence.
