Woman sells baby naming rights to the internet

For only $5,000. That’s not nearly enough.

NATASHA HILL COULDN’T decide what to name her baby, so she did what any logical person would do.  Got a website to pay her $5,000 so that they could put it up for a public vote.

According to NBC San Diego, she “thought it was a really cool idea.”  Voters will choose from a list of names created by the staff and advertisers of bellyballot.com and nothing “too crazy” will be allowed apparently.

Natasha’s boyfriend is not so into it, having concerns that people will use the opportunity to do “something pranky”.  Y’THINK?

There are some great options on the website handily grouped names in to themed lists, with sections like ‘Brainiac Names’ (e.g. Aristotle, Baldwin etc.),  ’Aristocrat Names’ (e.g. Albrecht, Lady etc.)  and ‘Cowpoke names’ (Amos, Hank etc.).

Our favourite though has to be Lagina.
