World Cup Semi-Final: Brazil v Germany (RTÉ Two, 8pm)

The first of the World Cup semi-finals is already upon us. Brazil’s Neymar is out with a back injury and Thiago Silva is suspended – will Germany be able to take advantage of this? Eamon Dunphy, Jon Giles and Liam Brady are on the panel for RTÉ. #BRA #GER

Kirstie’s Fill Your House For Free (Channel 4, 8pm)

Kirstie Allsopp is back and trying to fill two completely empty homes with furniture, all for free. How’s she gonna do it? Well, through salvaging old pieces, furniture ‘hacks’ and up-cycling. Interesting stuff for interiors enthusiasts.

Carlito’s Way (RTÉ Two, 11.35pm)

Wind down after the big game with this classic crime film, starring a young Al Pacino as a mobster trying to keep on the straight and narrow after a spell in prison. However, after agreeing to take part in a shady business deal he finds himself being drawn back in to a life of crime.

Everybody’s talking about: The leaked Doctor Who scripts

Doctor Who fans are up in arms after five scripts from Series 8 of the show were posted on entertainment site Bleeding Cool yesterday. The series isn’t set to air until August, when Peter Capaldi will make his debut as the Doctor.

BBC has confirmed that the leaked scripts are the real deal, apologised to the fans, and asked the person who leaked the scripts not to share any more details. As they should.
