HEY GUYS, DON’T ignore those wrong number texts. You never know – they might lead you to the love of your life.

That’s what happened to 53-year-old Kasey Bergh while on a business trip in Denver three years ago.

After her colleague’s flight was delayed, Bergh sent a text to who she thought was another coworker – but instead, got through to 23-year-old Henry Glendening.

Instead of dismissing it as a plain old wrong number text, Glendening responded, saying:

Sorry you’ve got the wrong number. But if I wasn’t headed to work I’d be down to hang ;)

Bergh apologised for texting him, but the two got chatting, and met up the next week for the first in a series of dates.

Glendening told the St Louis Post-Dispatch that at that point, he was stuck in a dead-end job and an unhappy relationship – inspired by The Secret, he decided to see what became of his text conversations with Bergh. The age difference, he said, didn’t faze him.

It really didn’t make any difference. We were so connected at that point through deeper stuff. From the very, very beginning it felt like we were on the same wavelength.

Back in June, three years after that first text, the couple married in St Louis.

OK. You’ve convinced us. Romance is very much alive :’)
