A country music star played a gig in Dublin's 3Arena last night... in front of a giant Union Jack
COUNTRY 2 COUNTRY is a three-day country music extravaganza currently taking place in Dublin’s 3Arena.
Many of America’s leading country artists including Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker and Maren Morris are slated to perform during the festival.
The gigs kicked off last night with a performance from Zac Brown Band, a country music group that rose to fame with their smash hit Chicken Fried in 2008.
Unfortunately the gig was marred by a flag mix-up early on that saw the group perform in front of a giant Union Jack.
Needless to say, it didn’t go over too well with the crowd.

The mistake seems to stem from the fact that Zac Brown Band is due to play in the UK this weekend as part of the Country 2 Country festival being held concurrently in London’s O2.
Still not a great look, though.

The singer appears to have redeemed himself at the end of the gig by wrapping a tricolour around his shoulders.

Let’s hope he doesn’t make that mistake again, eh?
