Zach Braff rowed in on the United Airline leggings controversy with a great Scrubs reference

“Am I allowed wear this on your planes?”

ZACH BRAFF’S TWITTER account is one of the internet’s shining lights of soundness.

And he’s especially good at throwing in the best nods to Scrubs from time to time:

And yesterday, he was back at it again.

Over the weekend United Airlines found themselves at the centre of a social media storm. Why? They barred two girls from boarding a flight in Denver because they were wearing leggings.

The girls, one of whom was 10 years old, were stopped because they were flying on the airline’s “pass rider” system. It’s a benefit programme that allows employees and their family members to fly for free – and one that requires a dress code for passengers.

The concept of a 10-year-old having to comply to a dress code was ridiculed far and wide

But it was Zach Braff’s response last night that brought a smile to all Scrubs fans’ faces

His leggings are important to him

People have been quick to point out United’s tweet from last year featuring… leggings

But really, this whole ordeal has reminded us that Zach Braff’s Scrubs tweets are worth logging in for

More of these, please.
