IT WAS ANNOUNCED this evening that Zayn Malik would be quitting the One Direction world tour due to stress.
In a statement from the band, ”Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta.”
The lads are scheduled to perform in Manila on March 12 and 22 as part of their On The Road Again tour.
It comes after the news that Malik and bandmate Louis Tomlinson would be fined thousands if they were caught using drugs while in the Philippines after they were featured allegedly smoking cannabis in a leaked video last year.
